The historic McDonald Theatre was opened in 1925 as a movie house. Today McDonald Theatre is used as a popular live theatre and music venue in Eugene, Oregon. It is located at 1004-1044 Willamette St. The Eugene landmark was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1982. The theatre has hosted everything from traveling vaudeville companies to major theatre productions.
The seating chart for the McDonald Theatre can be arranged in multiple ways depending on the act that is there. For musical performances by bands that play music that just must be danced to the theatre staff arranges the seats in a "limited seating dance hall concert" arrangement, that removes the seats nearest to the stage for dancing and then provides a balcony for those concert goers who prefer a little less moshing with their music. For typical concerts there is a "general admissions" arrangement with first come first serve seats, finally, there is a "reserved seating" arrangement where the McDonald Theatre seating chart is arranged with preferred seating closest to the stage.
Past Performers at the McDonald Theatre include Blues Traveler, O.A.R., The Pixies, Modest Mouse, Wilco, Ziggy Marley and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy along with many, many more! Buy McDonald Theatre Tickets now and get ready to have a great night!
